Business and Action Plan Summary

  • The Club’s facilities are situated on land owned and managed by KNTC. The Club has its own Clubhouse with toilet and changing facilities and a bar
  • The Club draws the majority of its Members from Kings Norton and the surrounding area
  • The Club is managed by a team of volunteers who make up the Management Committee which meets every six weeks
  • The Club has CLUBMARK status which is a way of organising its development more effectively, safeguarding Members interests and making itself more attractive as a partner with other organisations with similar interests – such as schools, other sports providers and the LTA
  • The financial position of the Club has been responsible for many years. It has recently set up a sinking fund in support of the planned re-surfacing of the courts in 2016. The Club’s financial position is reviewed at each Committee meeting. The AGM is held annually in March where audited accounts are produced.

Aims and Objectives

Progress towards the achievement of stated aims and objectives are discussed at each Committee meeting and are subject to scrutiny at the AGM. They are also discussed with the LTA Development Officer.
